An independent practice, personal by design.
Gibson is the practice of Mateus Gibson, based in Venice and working between Europe and Brazil.

Between Europe and Brazil, in Italian, Portuguese and English.
Work between Europe and Brazil rarely fails for lack of talent or demand. It fails in the space between the two sides: briefs that lose meaning in translation, time zones that blur who is responsible, and no one holding the whole picture.
Most of that space is about people: knowing whom to call, how a counterpart reads an offer, when a yes really means yes. Mateus Gibson is Brazilian and settled in Italy, and knows both business cultures from the inside. Over the years he has built working relationships on both sides, across sectors from construction and design to food and logistics.
He is also here, and available. For a company abroad, that means a person on the ground in Europe: visiting a supplier, sitting in on a meeting, checking work or goods before they move, and bringing in the right specialist when a question goes beyond his own. Whether the job is importing coffee or working with a team across the Atlantic, someone keeps every step moving until it is done.
His training is in project development and management, and it shows in how he works: a clear question at the start, the right people around the table, and follow-through until it is done.
Every engagement is led personally by Mateus, from the first question to the last delivery. Scope and fees are clear before any work begins, and every step ends with something to act on, or a clear reason to stop.

A strategic base, not only a beautiful one.
Where a counterpart sits matters. Venice puts Gibson inside the EU, in one of Italy’s main exporting regions, and within working hours of Brazil.
Inside the EU
Based in Italy, in the single market and the euro area: a counterpart close at hand for European companies, and someone on the ground for international ones.
Northeast Italy
The Veneto is one of Italy’s leading exporting regions, close to the industrial districts of Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna and Friuli. Many buyers and suppliers are a short trip away.
Connected
North Adriatic ports, high-speed rail to Milan and an international airport: visits, meetings and trade fairs within easy reach.
Shared hours
Four to five working hours overlap with Brasília every day: enough for same-day answers on both sides.
